toget-her.de is a specialized platform where models and hostesses apply and manage their digital portfolios (sedcards). The initial system—developed by a former developer—had functionality gaps that were causing issues in user authentication, email triggers, and navigation. Our objective was to address these issues comprehensively while ensuring a smooth experience for both the models and the administrative team.

Client Requirements & Problem Statement
Client Requirements
The client’s feedback clearly outlined several key requirements:
Seamless Login & Redirection: Models reported that clicking the "login" menu link sometimes redirected them to the homepage, instead of their sedcard page. The requirement was to enable direct redirection to the sedcard upon successful login.
Reliable Triggered Emails: The system sends trigger emails that include auto-generated passwords and specific login links when a model is accepted. However, models experienced issues with these links and password generation. The emails needed to reliably deliver dynamic, accurate login details.
Robust Password Recovery: It was vital to provide a “forgot password” option so that models could recover or reset their passwords without affecting existing user data.
Dynamic Real-Time Search: Adding a real-time search bar on the models and hostesses pages was essential so that users can filter and locate profiles instantly as they type, without the need for page refreshes.
Data Preservation & Integrated Workflow: All improvements needed to integrate seamlessly with existing systems without disrupting current data, including models’ information, passwords, and sedcard details.
Problem Statement
Initial system challenges included:
Incomplete Login Implementation:
The login area was only partially completed, leading to misdirected navigation. Models occasionally got sent back to the homepage rather than being forwarded to their personal sedcard.


Faulty Email Triggers:
The auto-generated password and login links embedded in the trigger emails were inconsistent, sometimes failing to work correctly when users attempted to log in.


Lack of Efficient Profile Navigation:
With an increasing number of models and hostesses, the absence of an in-page, real-time search feature made it difficult for users to quickly locate specific profiles.



Our Solution
Working on the Wix platform, our team delivered a thorough set of improvements using advanced Wix technologies and custom development, ensuring a user-centric, robust solution.
1. Revamping the Authentication Flow
Custom Auth Logic & Redirects: Using Wix Velo for server-side and client-side scripting, we implemented custom authentication logic that:
Corrects the login redirect so models are immediately taken to their dedicated sedcard page.
Ensures that if a model logs in via any entry point—whether through the menu or the trigger email—the system accurately identifies their session and role.
Permissions & Roles: We reinforced access control by configuring Permissions & Roles in Wix, ensuring that models, hostesses, and admins only access the relevant sections of the site.
2. Repairing and Optimizing Triggered Email Functions
Dynamic Triggered Emails: Leveraging Triggered Emails with Dynamic Values, we corrected the link generation logic. This involved:
Updating the authentication module so that the auto-generated password and login links included in the welcome emails work every time.
Ensuring that password reset emails initiated via the “forgot password” feature deliver new credentials reliably.
Data Preservation: Throughout these updates, we took special care to maintain the integrity of existing user data stored in Wix Data Collections, preserving all current models’ information and sedcards.
3. Implementing a Real-Time Search Feature
Wix UI Components & Repeater Components:
To enhance profile discoverability:
We integrated a real-time search bar directly on the models and hostesses pages, allowing users to filter results on the fly.
Repeaters were utilized for listing profiles dynamically, ensuring that as users type, the displayed content updates instantly without refreshing the page.
Dynamic Pages: The sedcard and admin pages were built as Dynamic Pages in Wix, making it easy to render personalized content based on the logged-in user’s data.
4. Building an Intuitive Admin Dashboard
Admin Dashboard: An intuitive administrative interface was developed to streamline application reviews and manage profile changes:
Administrators can view pending applications, review sedcard edits, and trigger confirmations or rejections via a dedicated dashboard.
This dashboard integrates tightly with the rest of the system, reflecting status updates in real time.
5. Supporting Multilingual Capabilities
Wix Multilingual: To cater to a diverse user base, we integrated Wix Multilingual. This ensured that the platform could support multiple languages, further enhancing accessibility and usability for models and hostesses from various regions.
