The project scope included the creation of a feature-rich homepage, a detailed locations directory, service pages, blog migration, and a careers subdomain, all optimized for user engagement and SEO.
Homepage Design and Development
The homepage was designed with a focus on user experience, featuring a dynamic hero image that adjusts based on the time of day (daytime/nighttime). This feature enhances the site’s relevance and appeal by reflecting real-time conditions.
Key elements:
Google Reviews Widget: Integrated up to 20 reviews from multiple hospital locations, with a filter to display only 5-star reviews, ensuring that the most positive feedback is prominently featured.
“Why Choose Us” Section: Implemented page animations to create a visually engaging narrative that highlights the unique value proposition of the client.
Search Functionality: Developed a comprehensive search function, enabling users to easily navigate across all pages (excluding symptom-related pages).
Locations Directory
A robust locations directory was developed, enabling users to find the nearest hospital with ease.
Key elements:
Zip Code Search: Integrated a zip code search function that dynamically updates with daytime/nighttime images and colors.
Geolocated Sticky Search Bar: A search bar that remains fixed as users scroll, populated with results that include hospital images, names, contact buttons, and more. Results are customized based on search radius and geolocation, displaying the distance in miles and estimated travel time.
Directory and Item Pages: Dynamic pages were created for each location, including Google Maps integration, drive time estimation, and contact details.
Coming Soon/Hospital Specific Pages: Pages were dynamically shown or hidden based on the status of the hospitals, ensuring that only relevant information was displayed.
Services Section
The services section clearly outlined the scope of care provided, with separate sections for “Who We See” and “What We Do.”
About Pages
A series of about pages were created to tell the client’s story, including:

FAQ: Collapsible headers and a custom search bar were implemented to enhance usability.
Community Care: Highlighting community involvement and charitable initiatives.
Registration Forms: A registration form was included to manage inquiries efficiently.
Contact Us: A form was developed to facilitate easy communication.
Blog Migration
The existing blog content (78 articles) was migrated to the new site, with enhancements including:
Search Capability: Users can search by topics, keywords, and other filters.
Hero Banner: A visually appealing banner was added to the blog homepage.
Related Hospital Information: Each blog post featured a section displaying two nearby hospitals, enhancing relevance and user engagement.
XML Blog Migration Tool: An automated tool was used to migrate content from WordPress, ensuring a seamless transition.
SEO Optimization: A complete XML Sitemap and 301 redirects were implemented to preserve SEO rankings and avoid broken links.
Careers Subdomain
A dedicated careers subdomain was created to attract top talent, featuring:

Job Opportunities: Dynamic pages were developed to display job vacancies, with the ability to filter by title, location, and career area.
Greenhouse Integration: Integrated with Greenhouse for job postings, enabling dynamic data collection and page generation.

Additional Features
Newsletter Subscription Page: Developed to collect user information and encourage ongoing engagement.
Footer Integration: A sign-up link was added to the site footer for easy access.
